Nonnyp Blog posted a picture of popular Nigerian Gospel Singer Moses Bliss with his wife and another picture of him carrying a baby on Facebook, claiming that the singer and his wife had just welcomed a bouncing baby boy..
The caption on the picture reads; “Nigeria 
This post made by Nonnyp Blog on November 13 has generated 95,000 likes, over 19,000 comments and about 300 shares as of the time this report was published.
However, there have been different reactions and replies to the post; several people congratulated the couple while others voiced their doubt about the posts. A Facebook user, Esamikafe Emma Queen commented, “Blogger Una weldon oooo, na Moses bliss elder sister not Moses bliss wife ooo, She will welcome her own but dis one no be her own.”
Ugoh Vanessa also commented saying, “Hmm. For wedding we never reach 10 months abi pikin wey don grow finish. How this pikin be days old na ? And people dey type congratulations”
NV-A went on to verify the authenticity of the report about Moses Bliss and his wife, Marie welcoming a baby.
VERIFICATION
Bliss got married to his wife, Marie Wiseborn on March 3, 2024 and news of his engagement went viral in January 2024.
NV-A subjected the picture of Bliss carrying a baby posted by Nonnyp to Google reverse image check and the exact matches included a post made in September 2021 by Moses Bliss on Facebook.
The 23-second Facebook video’s caption reads: ‘So when my sis was pregnant with this baby, I prophesied that it’s a boy and yes it’s a boy! The 2 months old was brought to my office today and to my surprise, they named him after me “Bliss”, he also bears my dialect name ‘Etiido’, Guys meet my namesake; a bundle of joy; this beautiful boy, bliss.
Further search of Bliss’s official Facebook pages to confirm the authenticity of the news and saw that he had made a post on November 14 clarifying that the pictures and videos circulating are from 2021(3yrs ago) and that’s my sister’s child and the others spreading for weeks now are AI and photoshopped images.
The Facebook post reads: These pictures and videos circulating are from 2021(3yrs ago) and that’s my sister’s child and the others spreading for weeks now are AI and photoshopped images. As God’s people let’s do things right, let us do our due diligence to fact check before making up and following stories as it is unfair and unacceptable.”
CONCLUSION
The claim that the popular Nigeria Gospel Musician, Moses Bliss welcomed a baby boy with his wife Marie is FALSE.
