Media InnoTech Limited is a forward-thinking social enterprise dedicated to transforming the media ecosystem. By developing innovative tools, resources, and products, we aim to make media more inclusive, accessible, and engaging, with a particular focus on supporting vulnerable groups.
Our mission and vision are rooted in addressing two critical challenges: proactively combating information disorder and leveraging technology to bridge information gaps. These issues significantly impact civic participation and enable state-led media manipulation.
In Nigeria, despite a 73% internet penetration rate and the presence of hundreds of news organizations reaching over 200 million people, access to reliable information remains a pressing challenge. This situation reflects broader trends across sub-Saharan Africa.
Media InnoTech is committed to fostering innovation that empowers local media, democratizes access to information, and enhances media-civic collaboration. Through our work, we aim to support independent media, promote civic engagement, and contribute to a more participatory and informed society.
