Around Late January, a video went viral on social media platforms and blogs. The video was accompanied with the claim that Burkina Faso soldiers have killed scores of heavily armed Fulani bandits and terrorists crossing over into Nigeria.

The video, posted by a user on X, garnered over seven hundred thousand views, triggering discussions and reactions.

An X user who uses the handle @Nwaadaz posted a one-minute video on her account, showing corpses, motorcycles, and ammunition with the caption, “Burkina Faso soldiers killed scores of heavily armed Fulani bandits and terrorists crossing over to Nigeria.”

Fact-checking claims on Diabetes and its cure in Nigeria

A video shared on Facebook by a page known as “Eco puzzling” claimed that a Nigerian doctor, Dr. Dave Sullivan, has discovered a cure for diabetes has gone viral on the social media platform.

The video featured a news anchor purportedly with Channels TV featuring the alleged doctor, who reportedly claimed a cure with an effectiveness of 96% has been discovered.

According to the video, taking just one pill a day could save individuals from diabetic foot complications.

The video footer read: “30,000 Nigerians cured of diabetics.”
